Sparky can’t be my comfort animal.

Sparky doesn’t really understand, but he is contrite anyway.

I am getting itchy, and assume that Sparky has brought me some poison ivy.  Because of the heat, I haven’t done much bush work in the last week.  I don’t have a big problem with poison ivy, but a few spots on my arms and legs seem effected.

Sparky gets to roam and likes to go in the brush.  Once I confirm the location of the poison ivy, he can be kept away from it.  Until then, to avoid spreading more, we can’t be as chummy as we like.  Sparky doesn’t get the whole thing, but knows he isn’t on my lap or getting his belly scratched.

Carl recommends Fels Naptha for poison ivy.  Other than going back to 1965, I don’t know where it’s sold.

Zanefel poison ivy scrub begins to work immediately. It’s a bit expensive at about 50 dollars. That felts nappa the calamine lotion etc. does nothing.
Lysine pills speed heal your skin along with aloe vera gel if you drink it to get rid of poison ivy.
Aside from a steroid shot at the hospital Zanefel starts relief immediately.
Get some herbicide go along your property and start spraying all the poison ivy.
Out in medina I would avoid handling and petting my cat Meechoo because she would have poison ivy oil on her fur because she was an outdoor cat.
    Her nickname was “poison Meechoo.”

A friend who has done a lot of brush work, recommended Tecnu, so I ordered that. I’m not very allergic.

Because it’s rabbit season, Sparky has been going into some brush that he doesn’t usually frequent. I’m keeping him out of there and looking for poison ivy.
