CNN: Former Vice President Dick Cheney dies at 84 years old.
I’m not one to celebrate somebody’s death. Cheney seems like he pissed everybody off, so others will be posting snarky articles about him in a couple of days.
A few years ago, I listened to Cheney’s memoir, In my Time.
Appreciate the little things and take photos of the mundane. That’s what we miss when circumstances change.
We have a nice little routine. Sparky probably wakes up first, but he doesn’t get out of bed because he has the electric blanket he received last Christmas. It’s just a $15 heating pad, but it’s pretty nice for a dog.
Sparky got pretty salty when I told him that the truck is gone. He really likes car rides, and he thought they were over.
The Army of Darkness is the sequel to Evil Dead II. I’d never seen Evil Dead II, so we tried it. It’s a cabin in the woods story that is a bit campy and comically gory, but the story is a little tired and the setting is limited to the cabin and woods. It didn’t keep our attention.
I don’t follow pop culture, but it must mean something that for the first time in a few decades, there are no rap songs amongst the Top 40.
It’s been cold and rainy all day. It’s 45o F outside, but with the drizzle, it’s miserable. Sparky and I are taking a mental health day, so we don’t have to do shit. The wood stove is blazing and there is enough wood racked to keep the house warm and cozy all day.
South Korea gives Trump golden crown, medal conferring highest honor
Will the “No Kings” protestors get all wee-wee’d up that Trump now has a crown, or will they never learn that South Korea presented President Trump with their highest civilian honor?
Sparky gets nothing out of a cold and rainy day. Until the fire in the wood stove gets going, he intends to lay right here. If I want to rub his belly, that would be okay with him.
