I had a brain wave and checked Amazon to see when I bought the last set of smoke detectors.  That’s not bad, I’m only 7 months late.  The old smoke detectors are testing okay so I wasn’t in peril.  That’s better than I’d expected.

I also scheduled an email to be sent to myself in 2036 to change the smoke detectors.

I am on fire today.

Sparky doesn’t understand why I keep tethering him outside for a few minutes as I test each new install.
