The Wheel of Time was cancelled before I bothered to watch it.
At $15 million per episode, it was expensive to produce, but got quite a bit of buzz and has an IMDB rating of 7.2. Just look at that promotional poster. Why would I bother?
I tried The Rehearsal because I enjoyed the other recommendations on a “Best TV Shows of 2025” list. The summary didn’t say much beyond, “the less you know, the better”, and that’s probably right.

Whenever I read an article about science dogs, the photos always look phony or too precious. Sparky has a great range and always looks authentic. He should be a dog model.

NYT admits how thoroughly Biden failed at immigration enforcement.
First, they underestimated the scale of migration that was coming. Second, they failed to appreciate the political reaction to that migration — believing that stronger enforcement would alienate Latino and progressive voters, and also that a border surge would not be an important issue to most voters.
I painted all of my padlocks and their accompanying keys.
My last home security project was to add instrumentation to all of my exterior door locks to monitor their status, and communicate with a local hub. I wrote a short program to link the locked/unlocked status of each door lock to the off/on status of a bulb in my dining room chandelier.
Are my projects getting dumber or am I?
