Sparky wants to have a slumber party with his friends from summer camp, so I am prepping the battle space.
Archie and Indy are coming to stay for a couple of days. My plan is to restrict them to the solarium and kitchen until they prove they can be trusted.
The doorways were blocked a day before so Sparky could get used to it. I threw Mr. Moose over the white plastic barricade to see how long it took Sparky to figure out how to go around. He did well. A brief reconnoiter to determine that he couldn’t go over, under or through the barricade, then he went around. Sparky was quite proud of himself.
Indy had reddish fur, is bigger, good-natured and usually baffled. Archie is blond and thought to be deranged or retarded.
My delightful niece is out-of-town for a couple of days, so I get to watch the dogs. My nephew-in-law is bringing them over tomorrow morning. My plan is to bring them in through the patio doors. Let them figure out the layout, then introduce Sparky as Sean slips out.
That’s it. That’s my entire plan. If all the dogs stay in the house, or are only outside on a leash, not much can go wrong.
please keep updating this, it sounds interesting
Will do.
