I could sleep through having a creeper panting under my bed, but Sparky is really concerned.  It’s a thunderstorm and he isn’t feeling very confident.  I’d rather get out of bed at 4:30, then find that, in frustration, Sparky left a steamer in the kitchen.

Sparky is going to stay as close to me as possible, even if that does cause some awkward situations.

Sparky walks into the bathroom like this is something we do all the time.  He doesn’t make eye contact, as if to say, “this is only weird if you make it weird.”.  Sparky doesn’t look in the toilet bowl or sniff around.  That’s how you know he’s classy.

Obviously Sparky is much too close for me to comfortably use the loo.

I don’t know what can be done to get Sparky to relax, so I make sure his water bowl is refreshed and lie down on the couch.   Sparky won’t sleep, but maybe I will.

No, I’m not going to sleep with that mouth-breather hovering over me, drooling in my face until I get pinkeye.

After lying there a while, I got up to post these videos.  That turned out to be the best thing.  Sparky came along and got comfortable under the computer desk.  He’s been sleeping for about an hour.

It’s getting close to my normal wakeup time, so I’m torn between getting a little more sleep or making a Snow Day breakfast and powering through.
