CDC: 12 Month-ending Provisional Number and Percent Change of Drug Overdose Deaths

It should be a bigger story that drug overdose deaths are down 40%. 

Three reasons come to mind:

  • Controlling what comes across the border.
  • Blowing up drug boats
  • Removing illegal immigrants belonging to criminal gangs.

That’s all supply-side.  There may be demand-side reasons as well.  Everyone should be in favor of this.
