At morning fellowship, I was telling Sparky about the Young Washington movie. He wanted me to take a photo where he looked like George Washington’s dog.
Sparky says that his grave countenance would be a boon to young Washington.
I don’t know where Sparky gets that stuff, but he does look resolute and wise, gazing upon the not-too-distant future.
I tell Sparky that the photo does him credit, but George Washington might find him repulsive because he violates almost all of Washington’s Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior. Especially any rules about scratching, gnawing, yawning or licking your nethers.
Sparky says that in the photo, I look like a gristle pig.
I don’t know what that is.
Sparky says that a gristle pig is that guy who is always gnawing at gristle on bare bones that he should give to his good dog. Sparky wants the fox fur too.
From the movie, Sparky means the guy on the right.

Oh, I like that guy. He seemed clever and resourceful with a positive mental attitude. I could be that guy if I wasn’t lazy, had actual wilderness skills and didn’t mind walking all the time. Seriously, I want to take a nap if my video game character has to run all the way over there.
The only thing we have in common is we both look good in hats.
Sparky says, “Yeah, I meant it as a compliment. That gristle pig probably never sits on the computer, or eats vegetables that he tries to get me to eat.”
That gristle pig doesn’t know how to drive, so would never take you on a car ride.
Sparky admits that living with a gristle pig wouldn’t be all dead raccoons and wandering around all the time.
