A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon the TV show, Ride or Die. I watched two episodes, and know it’s not for me.
The target audience seems to be middle-aged women who haven’t accomplished anything significant and don’t know how to do stuff, but wish they did.
I appreciate that Sparky has my back as I fold laundry and watch this cheesy show.

Hannah Waddington’s character is a professional assassin who does contract work for various intelligence agencies. She is thoroughly unprofessional, has no sneaky spy skills, but can drive, shot and ski like James Bond.
Octavia Spencer’s character is the wife of an MP in the UK Parliament, and she is the driving force that makes him likely to be the next prime minister.
Octavia’s husband is mixed up with a greasy guy that Hannah is supposed to assassinate. That’s how Octavia learns that Hannah has been living a double life.
IMDB lists Ride or Die as an action/adventure/comedy. It isn’t funny or exciting, but it goes through the motions. A middle-aged woman with an unfulfilled life and a box of wine may find it more engaging.
