Planting a tree is a good project because once it’s established, the tree does all the work.

Anything I transplant just has to live through the summer.  Once the rain picks up in the fall, my work is done.

I’ve been transplanting man-sized pine trees, dog-sized oak trees, and may put some autumn olive by the creek bridge for erosion control.

I have a few 20 gallon Treegator watering bags.  I should put those on the pine trees.
