It’s a Question Everyone Is Asking About the Ilhan Omar Syringe Attack…and I Can See Why

Was the squirting attack on Congressman Omar a planned, staged, phony stunt intended to make Omar seem sympathetic?

I don’t know.  You don’t either. 

The two reasons people are skeptical are because of Omar’s reaction to the attack and the pointlessness of the attack.

Just after security grabbed the guy, Omar charged the assailant with fists up.  That is not a normal politician response to a threat, and people find it suspicious.  I don’t.

Ilhan Omar describes herself as Somali.  She came to the US when she was 12 years old.  In the past few years, we’ve observed several people of Somali heritage.  The men seem borderline retarded, and the women seem aggressive and belligerent.  I don’t know why.

Ilhan Omar seems like a nasty person.  Rushing a man to beat him with fists does not seem out of character for her.  If the attack was staged, Omar would respond in a more plausible way to illicit the intended audience response.

Nobody thinks that in a straight fight, she could beat up that guy.  Nobody thinks that Omar expected the security guy to hold him down as she extracts some street justice.  Moving toward the assailant with fists up, makes no sense, so it does seem like her legitimate response.

The other suspicious aspect is the pointlessness of the attack.  The guy brought a full syringe and a seat up front, so this was a planned attack.  Current reporting says the liquid was apple cider vinegar.  That’s not even a little bit offensive.  The guy had no possibility of getting out without being arrested. 

The attack on Omar will get plenty of news coverage early on as Progressives exploit the incident to blame Trump and Republicans.  A narrative will be invented, and corporate media will make it stick.  We won’t hear the full story from the assailant.  What did he expect to accomplish?  How did he generate this plan?  Did someone put him up to this?

If this incident was staged, I doubt that Omar knew it was coming.  It does seem like the kind of plan that borderline retarded men would come up with, so we will see what comes of the investigation.
