Nobody cares that Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a peace accord.  Would you care more if you knew that the Tartars are from Azerbaijan, so that’s probably where tartar sauce was invented?  If you liked fish sticks you’d be interested.

I happened to catch the signing of the peace accord.  For two countries that I know nothing about, it was a little bit touching because it meant so much to the leaders of the two countries.  They have been fighting for decades, and probably never thought it would end.

They have had ceasefires and peace deals in the past.  It seems like whoever brokered a deal, lost interest after it was signed.  Eventually another war would start up.  I don’t know what Trump did differently, but both of these leaders seem to be relieved and optimistic. 

You can hate Trump, that’s fine, but on this, his people did a good thing.  The video starts after Trump gave his remarks.  It’s just a nice thing that happened in the world, and maybe this time, peace will last a while.
