Don Lemon arrested in connection to anti-ICE church protest

There is no Constitutional right to protest.  That’s not a thing.  It’s not in there.

Here is the 1st Amendment to the Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

That’s the whole thing.  There are Supreme Court rulings, precedent and case law, but those just clarify the details and specifics.

“freedom of the press” doesn’t give any special privileges to journalists.

“the right of the people peaceably to assemble” doesn’t mean a crowd can meet anywhere and do anything.  Noise ordinances, trespassing, or permitting rules still apply.

Protestors in Minneapolis have been getting assertive, and the mayor has been lenient, but that can change at any time.

Don Lemon, a former CNN anchor, accompanied a group of protestors to interrupt a church service.  Saying that he is a journalist doesn’t give him a pass.  If you aren’t familiar, Don Lemon is a bigot and racist of the “Hate Whitey” type.  He may be charged under the KKK Act.

That’s some good irony.
