26 people arrested following protest at Maple Grove hotel
Governor Walz and Mayor Frey could have done this weeks ago, and two people would not be dead.
A protest Monday night outside a Maple Grove hotel rumored to be housing federal agents prompted a police response from multiple agencies.
The protest escalated when participants allegedly began throwing things at officers and damaging property, according to police.
Violent protests have been going on in Minneapolis for a month. Local law enforcement hasn’t turned over criminal illegal immigrants or kept protestors from interfering with federal law enforcement.
Suddenly state and local law enforcement are doing their jobs.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Hennepin Public Order Group all responded to the scene to help Maple Grove police.
Yesterday, President Trump talked to Governor Walz.
President urged Walz to end ‘resistance and chaos’ in Minnesota
Seems like “urged” is doing a lot of work in that sentence. Let’s see a transcript of that conversation. If state and local law enforcement cooperate with federal law enforcement, lawless riots in Minneapolis will go away, and Minnesota will be as safe and stable as Texas or Florida.
