Sparky says this is a high-traffic pinch point because it’s the easiest way to get passed the highway fence. If I can get him a Mosin–Nagant, he says the coyote problem will be resolved.
Karl may have one. Hell, Karl may have Häyhä old rifle. He collects all kinds of stuff, and has a good opinion of Sparky. Karl could have a Suomi KP/-31, but he’d never let a dog use a submachine gun.
When Sparky is going for concealment, the camouflage works well.

Sparky is mostly a tracker, so the camo makes him less obvious.

He’s really a good sport about this. In return, he wants me to get him some sahti or salmiakkikossu.

After I reminded him that he doesn’t drink, I asked if he would accept a Swedish meatball as a reward. He thought that was a good idea as long as a Swedish meatball was just a regular meatball.
Here’s what he looks like when he’s thinking about meatballs.

Sparky is an immensely tolerant fella.
