Max has potential.

Sparky likes him because, “He is not good with small animals or chickens.”  He says Max sounds like a sensible fella. 

I am concerned because Max is at least 3 years old, and still “working on his house-training and leash-training while he waits for a new home.”

Sparky thinks that Max is just screwing around to see what he can get away with. 

I like that Max looks like a big dog puppy, but is an adult that’s less than 20 lbs.  Sparky agrees, and said, “I like the look of them haunches.”

Max is a pug/beagle mix.  Sparky needs a CPAP, so I wonder if a pug/beagle mix can breath at all.  Sparky says I should probably build Max a hyperbaric chamber from an old bucket or rain barrel. 

“Max does tend to be the more dominant dog in a group setting.”

Sparky sees that as an advantage.  He said, “Somebody has to be in charge of this outfit, and I’m getting too old for this shit.”
