or inverted. Maybe it’s ironic,  who knows?

The point is, the first time I took Sparky outside to do his dirty business, he pooped on a stump.  Today, he got to shit under a stump.  Sparky appreciates the strange twist.

Sparky and I went to the Boyas landfill today to dump the asphalt pulled up from the backyard.  I was instructed to unload next to the stump.  Sparky took the opportunity to take a dump under a stump.

Going to the dump is always interesting.

Regular people can go to the dump, but it isn’t our world.  There is construction equipment operating all over the place and purpose-built machines processing the debris.  It’s very organized, but in an unfamiliar way.  The guy in the office gives navigational instructions that seem complicated because it’s all alien.  They know what they are doing, so it all works out.  “S3 Clean Fill” for me.

Look for a pile that makes sense.  There are piles of everything.  Big rocks, pallets, busted concrete, logs, and everything else.  This is all marble countertops.

Leftist environmentalists are assholes because their main interest is in establishing authoritarian governmental regulations to make life more expensive and difficult.  The guys who run the construction equipment and purpose-built machines, are doing the most good for the environment.  They sort and process everything to be used again.

Concrete gets pulverized for gravel or rip-rap.  Asphalt gets recycled at a rate of 95%.  Dirt gets sifted as topsoil or fill dirt.  Logs are ground up for wood chips.  Nearly everything is good for something.

I would have taken more photos, but it’s a little intimidating being around all these people who know what they are doing.
