Sparky is exhausted.  Just before this photo was taken, he was sleeping with his eyes closed.  It’s noon, but Sparky doesn’t intend to move.

I am tempted to sit in the chair next to him, and put on my socks.  If I do that, Sparky will feel obliged to come over and ask to get on my lap.   He is so tired, I don’t know if he would do it.  I’m not going to try because he needs his sleep.

We had a thunderstorm last night.  Sparky gets excited or anxious, it’s not clear which.  He dog-smiles, pants and follows me around.  I’d like to put the Sparky-cam on him when a storm comes in.  He stays about 2 feet away the whole time.

Lightning doesn’t bother him.  Sparky watches the lightning, listens to the thunder, then starts trembling.  It’s so pathetic, it breaks my heart.  So, we stayed up late to watch Youtube.  I tried tossing Mr. Moose, but that didn’t work out.  Sparky liked playing tug-of-war, but he wouldn’t leave the couch to retrieve Moose.

Eventually we went to bed, but I don’t know if Sparky slept much.
