Whatever it is, Sparky doesn’t like it.

I’ve never seen Sparky like this, and now I’m concerned.

Sparky’s tail gives him away.  It’s practically between his legs, and I don’t know what to make of that.  When I let him out, he stood like that until I brought him in.  Sparky is looking toward the woods, so it’s got nothing to do with me.  It’s like he owes some money to some guy in the woods, or maybe took his girl.

Here is Sparky when he is trying to smell for yellow jackets in the woods.  His tail is straight out in his alert and concentrating posture.

When Sparky is alert, concentrating, but doesn’t like it so much, his tail is droopy and straight.  Here, he is looking into the creek, and not sure how he’s going to get down there.

Here’s another one where he is thinking, but not too happy with his prospects.  He’s trying to figure out if he has to wear these snow boots forever.

Here he is a minute later, just before going back into the house.  It’s almost like his butt is a little low, as  if  he is crouching a bit.
