Sparky is having a rough morning.
By mid-afternoon yesterday, Sparky was feeling frisky again. He thought I was a dope for misreading the dead mouse situation. Sparky filled me in.

Trump’s ‘Hero garden’ is coming – where Abraham Lincoln will stand next to Julia Child
Americans could soon get the chance to walk by life-size statues of luminaries, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Muhammad Ali, after President Donald Trump’s “National Garden of American Heroes” was greenlit.
Trump is an idea man. Some of his ideas are so unexpected, we need time to think an idea through before forming an opinion. The ‘National Garden of American Heroes’ is happening, but it doesn’t sound like a good idea.
Sparky found a shallow trench that was in the shade and that just fit his belly, so he wasn’t going anywhere. Sparky didn’t want to help.
Sparky is anxious and needs a friend, but because of the poison ivy issue, I have been standoffish and not as cuddly as is our custom.
Sparky woke me this morning with his dream-speak. The sky looked splendid, so I got out of bed and took a photo.

I don’t know if this counts as a red sky, but doesn’t matter. We have been productive enough to earn our keep.
Sparky isn’t so sure, and thinks we might want to pick up a rotisserie chicken just to be safe.
After working at Caterpillar for about a year, I was settling into the job. The Cutlass was still running, but the job was starting to require a lot of travel. Joliet and Detroit were coming up, those were within driving distance, so I wanted to get a good highway car.

Biden just gave a speech about Social Security where he talked about first encountering “colored kids”.
It’s endearing when elder-folk say things people aren’t supposed to say. They can be refreshingly candid because they are channeling their younger self or they don’t give a shit anymore.
