While Sparky took his nap, I have not been slacking.

I applied the final coat of polyurethane to the headboard.  Tom Petty was right, waiting is the hardest part.  Polyurethane is dry to the touch in 3 or 4 hours, but isn’t cured enough to be handled for about a day.  Until then, it’s taking up space in my brain.

The doors are finished, and waiting to be installed.  I need to stay out of that room to avoid kicking up dust.

I need a distraction for a few hours.  Something to get me out of the house.

It occurs to me that Friday is our customary workout day.  My brother had knee replacement surgery a month ago, so we are both taking a break from Planet Fitness.  At least now I have an activity that I want to avoid.
