Sparky and I stayed up to watch the entire Joe Rogan episode with Trump. It’s possible that Sparky only stayed up to eat popcorn.
If anything substantive had come from Trump’s appearance, you’d have heard about it already. He didn’t say anything that was unexpected or revelatory. If you don’t like Trump, don’t bother watching as he doesn’t say anything that can be used against him. If you like Trump, then you will enjoy how he characterizes people you don’t like.
Joe Rogan tends to be congenial, and finds common ground with his guests and lets them talk. It’s impressive that Trump can have a 3 hour conversation and seem like a normal human. Bernie Sanders and RFK, Jr. have both been on Rogan’s show, and presented themselves well, although RFK Jr.’s raspy voice is difficult to endure.
The next day, I went to Youtube to find the episode. At that point, it had 20 million views, so typing “Rogan Trump interview” into the Youtube search bar should have brought it up as the first video, but it wasn’t there. Instead, there were dozens of reaction interviews from various journalists. That’s pretty shady.
When I first watched it, the Youtube video was embedded in a blog post. To find it again, I had to go to Rogan’s Youtube page, PowerfulJRE, to get to the video. People who don’t routinely watch Rogan’s podcast would not know that.
To counter Youtube’s election interference, I will post the video here:
