The Democratic Party is off in the weeds. They are making excuses for lunatics, and it would be better off if they weren’t.

Former Biden press secretary-turned-MSNBC host Jen Psaki warns Democrats not to accept the premise that transgender athletes is even an issue.
Republicans spent hundreds of millions on anti-trans ads this election cycle, including one that showed Vice President Harris talking about government funding for gender re-affirming care for prisoners and detainees. If that sounds like a particularly obscure issue, it’s because it applies to a tiny group of people,
Psaki spends no time talking about how women in prison may be locked up with a cellmate who is a man. “Drop the soap” jokes are not funny when the implication is that a man in prison may be subjected to ongoing rape. Locking a woman in a cell with a man who may be a convicted rapist is unconscionable.
Another repeated line in the ads and throughout right-wing media is the idea that America is faced with a crisis of boys playing in girls’ sports. These ads created the perception that the issue of boys playing in girls’ sports was dominating the country, which is completely false.
San Jose State players sue their university.
How many women and girls need to be cheated or injured by opportunistic men and boys before this injustice is worth addressing?
San Jose State University has a 6′ 1″ man playing on their volleyball team. So far, seven teams have forfeited against SJSU because the players don’t want to be spiked in the face by a powerful man. The issue is so bad, that SJSU players have sued their own school for allowing a man on the team.
The college volleyball controversy over a transgender player took a new twist this week when San Jose State University’s women’s team sued their own coach.
The SJSU players feel so strongly about this, they are asking for all their wins to be voided and their own team not be eligible to play in the conference tournament.
The lawsuit also alleges that the plaintiffs’ free speech rights were infringed upon because they were discouraged from speaking about their opposition to her participation.
Making people shut up is a recurring tactic used by progressives and endorsed by the Democratic Party. From Psaki’s interview:
Some people got pulled into the argument. Immediately after the election, Congressman Seth Moulton told the New York Times that, “Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face.” He remarked, “I have two little girls, and I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”
The Democratic Party can intimidate a congressman to discourage him from talking about an issue that threatens his own children. That isn’t normal or productive.
Trump is running the Republican Party, and Republicans will be running the country. He has always had a strong sense of what America needs, but now he has valid reasons to retaliate against partisan interests in the government and media. We really need a Democratic Party that cares about all Americans and can balance Trump’s agenda. No sign that will be happening.
