Schools are a condensed version of the community. To stop school shootings, society has to change, and that’s difficult. It is more convenient for activists to use school shootings to their political advantage. “Never let a crisis go to waste.” The corollary is never solve a crisis if you don’t have to.
Everybody needs to grow up and act like adults.
This is a real call to violence. The police need to be present, act professionally, and arrest anyone that breaks the law. The district attorneys need to act professionally, and issue appropriate indictments.
Law enforcement and government officials have to apply the law fairly in all cases. Occupy, Antifa, whomever. It doesn’t matter if the group has valid points. If they start burning cars, assaulting people or trespassing, they get arrested.
The FBI has to stop whatever bullshit they are up to. They seem to infiltrate and encourage any group that serves their political interest.
The incursion into the Capitol building on January 6th, 2021 is an embarrassment for so many people. FBI informants were encouraging entrance to the building and violent activity. The Capitol police officers were leading people around, acting unprofessionally, and had not plan to keep the building secure. The crowd shouldn’t have taken the bait.
Sure, trying to arrest one person amongst hundreds is a provocation. The released video shows police inside standing around as individuals or small groups wandering around. The police officers had no clear guidance.
The Capitol building certainly has a PA system. Continually repeating, “Exit the building, you will be arrested.” would persuade the general public to leave.
People in positions of authority need to stop promoting grievances. Trans people do have mental issues, drag queens shouldn’t be hosting events for children, Black on Black crime is huge, poor communities need police to keep order, police need to be trained and accountable.
The corporate media needs to stop inciting violence and promoting divisiveness. There is a legit reason why nobody believes corporate media. The NYT and NPR are partisan organizations. They intentionally hid stories about Hunter Biden to get a senile man elected.
Masculinity is not the problem, boys need more of it. Children need fathers. The fathers need to protect and provide for their families. Boys need books and stories about men acting selflessly and heroically.
In my Physics class, when we cover the topic of sound, we watch a Modern Marvels episode called “Breaking the Sound Barrier”. Students learn about American hero, Chuck Yeager. That’s how he is referred to in class.
Two of my former students came back to visit. In college, they were both in a Sociology class. The instructor asked the class to give an example of a hero. Both hands shot up. “American hero, Chuck Yeager”. That wasn’t what the instructor was expecting. I am very proud of them.
Chuck Yeager emphasizes that, “Duty is paramount.” Yes, he could die piloting the X-1, but that was his duty.
Boys need to hear about hard men doing difficult things. They also need to be challenged and learn to be responsible. Athletes and celebrities don’t usually make good role models.
