I’m the abortion campaigner name-checked by JD Vance.

It’s really disappointing to see how the UK government has deteriorated.

The 51-year-old army veteran was convicted in October for praying silently outside an abortion clinic in November 2022.

He was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £9,000 for breaching a ban on protests within a legal buffer zone around the clinic in Bournemouth, Dorset.

The court was told during Mr Smith-Connor’s prosecution that he bowed his head and clasped his hands outside the British Pregnancy Advisory Service in Bournemouth, in a silent vigil that lasted three minutes.

The facts aren’t disputed.  This UK citizen was arrested and fined more that $11,000 for standing on the sidewalk with his head bowed for 3 minutes.  Good on JD Vance for calling out the UK for their censorship.

People in the UK are being arrested for thought crimes, while Pakistani rape gangs operate with impunity.

Badenoch calls for national inquiry into ‘rape gangs’

Her decision, taken in October, was reported by GB News on Wednesday and then picked up by Elon Musk on his social media platform X, and several senior Tories.

An inquiry into abuse in Rotherham found 1,400 children had been sexually abused over a 16-year period, predominantly by British Pakistani men.

An investigation in Telford found that up to 1,000 girls had been abused over 40 years – and that some cases had not been investigated because of “nervousness about race”.

For decades, Pakistani men preyed on White working class teenage girls.  Law enforcement turned a blind eye or blamed the victims.  Government officials were afraid that if they arrested Pakistani men for rape, then citizens would think less of Pakistani men.  Good on Musk for presenting this issue to his 200 million followers.

Europe does seem to need US leadership to keep it from going off the rails.
