Just over a year before a US Army helicopter crashed into an American Eagle commuter jet near Reagan National Airport, I posted Pete Buttigieg Hates Americans. My post was about updated DEI policies at the FAA.
I have no idea if DEI policies have anything to do with that crash, but the DEI policies at the FAA are so outrageous, they seem designed to get people killed.
It’s my understanding that the FAA was the only organization in the Department of Transportation that were given these DEI policies. In that post, there are quotes from the FAA Diversity and Inclusion page. To sum up my prior post.
Pete Buttigieg gave the FAA specific instructions to hire people with epilepsy, severe intellectual disabilities or psychiatric disabilities. Pete Buttigieg gave FAA managers the authority to hire disabled people on the spot. The policy was implemented almost three years ago. That’s plenty of time to have had an effect.
Whether or not this crash resulted from his DEI policy, Congress should call Pete Buttigieg in for a hearing to allow him to explain his reasoning. Right now, it looks like Pete Buttigieg meant to intentionally degrade our infrastructure to put Americans in great danger, but I could be wrong. Give him a chance to make his case.
